Section of food

The sections of food inspired her for this collection. The prints are screen-printed with transparent ink, puff ink, flex foil and flock foil to create layering and depth.

Mafad

During her studies at Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design she took part in the the textile course, where she experimented extensively with techniques such as knitting, weaving, screen printing, as well as designing prints. The photos displayed are a collection of my work from the past years.

Weaving - Textile Lab Tilburg

Weaving the design from the print collection “section of food”. Elastics were used for shrinkage, in order to get relief in the fabric. The production of the fabric took place in a weaving mill in Tilburg.
