MADE maastricht is een tweedaags evenement waar aan Maastricht verbonden vormgevers en kunstenaars zich presenteren. In het Eiffelgebouw โ het oude industriรซle icoon van het Sphinxkwartier โ kunnen bezoekers kennis maken met de ontwerpers รฉn makers.Mode, meubels, sieraden, grafische vormgeving: verschillende disciplines zijn vertegenwoordigd. Jong talent en ervaren vakmanschap laat zien hoe hedendaagse technieken en ambachtelijk vakmanschap zich ontwikkelen tot grensverleggend en oogstrelend design. MADE maastricht is laagdrempelig en brengt bezoekers, ontwerpers รฉn makers met elkaar in contact.

SamS in the alderman's room Maastricht
A mannequin in the alderman's room.Alderman Vivianne Heijnen has a mannequin in her room, every month the outfit changes to a new design. Heijnen gives a stage to starting fashion designers, in collaboration with organization Fashionclash.
The initiators think that this room is a good place, because many people come here, which is useful when setting up a designer network.. read more

WE MADE IT!! THANKS FOR YOUR HELPA design collective formed of twelve graduate students from the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts and Design, from the disciplines Body, Object and Material.
We have stories to tell, and we do not want to keep them to ourselves.
We want to put us and our views out there.
As emerging young designers, we want to participate in Fashionclash Festival 2018: We see the value and the opportunity FCF as Maastricht based organisation can give us not only in the Netherlands but also on an international basis.
Our works are all focussing on fashion, fashion-related jewellery or textile. Due to Fashion Clash Festivals's interdisciplinary approach and view on fashion as an art form, we see ourselves fully represented and feel closely connected to the concept.
To participate with our own graduation show at this year's Fashionclash Festival, we are starting a crowdfunding soon to raise the funding.
